Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Another scandal is threatening to hit Miley Cyrus. A Los Angeles-based band claims the teen star's "Rockstar" is a plagiarism of their song.

Lustra insists that their track "Scotty Doesn't Know," which they performed for the 2004 comedy "Eurotrip," virtually has the same tune as the 15-year-old's Hannah Montana song.

The rock punk band even invites the star's fans to check out the "original" version on their MySpace page.

Guitarist Nick Cloutman has been quoted by website breakingnews.ie as saying, "Although we are very flattered that Ms. Cyrus took this route, we would have preferred some credit."

Lead vocalist Chris Baird adds, "If Hannah Montana wants us now, who is next? The Jonas Brothers?"

"That said, if (Vanity Fair photographer) Annie Liebovitz is interested in photographing us nearly nude we are certainly open to it and we look forward to her call."

The band is now considering various options to resolve this dilemma.

Their spokesman says, "The immediate solution is to minimize leaks, and keep all future recordings in a vault, under extreme security."

Lustra members also include guitarist Travis A Lee and drummer Manny the Love Manual.
